Kentucky Opera Announces 60th Anniversary Season
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - (April 20, 2012) The Brown-Forman 2012/13 Kentucky Opera Season opens in September with Tosca, continues in November with Massenet's Cinderella and completes with Don Giovanni in February 2013. Subscriptions range from $82 - $184 and are now available by calling

Passions ignite with Kara Shay Thomson (Santuzza Cavalleria Rusticana Sept. 2010) singing the title role in Puccini's fiery
masterpiece Tosca. Tosca premiered at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome on 14 January 1900 and was last performed by Kentucky Opera in January 2004.

David Roth directs the opera in four
acts which will be sung in Italian with English translations above the stage.
